The ISOC and OCS Qur’an Learning Center provides an ideal opportunity for the community to learn, read, and memorize the Qur’an with qualified teachers.

CLASSES FOR CHILDREN

Learn to Read the Qur’an –  M, T, W, Th 3:30pm-4:30pm
Memorization – Part 28, 29, 30 – M, T, W, Th   3:30pm-5:00 pm
Hifz Class with Sr. Ebtisam – M, T, W, Th  6:45am-7:45 am  (For OCS students only)

CLASSES FOR YOUTH (Ages 13 and up) & ADULTS

Learn to Read the Qur’an and Memorization – M, T, W, Th 5:00pm-6:00pm

Who are the teachers?

Dr. Ebtisam Alkodwa, Sh. Suhail Mulla, and Sh. Khalil Hanafi

Are there any prerequisites?There are no prerequisites for the “Learn to Read the Qur’an” Classes.For the Memorization class, students must be able to read the Qur’an on their own with a sufficient amount of fluency.

Does my child have to take an exam?

A brief oral exam will be given to assess the appropriate placement of the student.

Where will classes take place?

All afterschool classes will take place in Masjid Al-Rahman in the downstairs side rooms.  All morning classes will take place in Room 13.

How many students will there be in each class?

In order to give the best possible attention to each student, class size will be limited to 10 students per teacher.

Will my child have homework?

Yes, to maximize learning, each student will be assigned some revision which must be completed on time.

When will classes begin?

We are accepting registrations throughout the year since this is an on-going program.

If my child misses class on his/her assigned day, can they make up their time on a different day?

Due to the limited teacher-student ratio, we cannot accommodate changes in schedules.  Any changes would need to be made for the following month.

FEES – All payments must be submitted to the ISOC Accounting Office.

Payments are due by the first day of class at the beginning of each month.

For weekday classes

Quran Made Easy ……………………………………..………………$10. for material

Can I receive a sibling discount?

There is a $10 monthly discount for each sibling

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

During the first week …………………………………………………………… 50% refund

During the second week and beyond….……………………………….. NO REFUND
